How do I Install a Microwave?

Installing a standard microwave is as simple as removing it from the box and plugging it into a wall outlet. If installing a microwave underneath a kitchen cabinet, first check that the microwave model was designed for this purpose. Standard countertop microwaves cannot be mounted to a counter, cabinet or wall space.

Remove the microwave from the box and any interior plastic bags or packaging.

Tape the template included with your wall-mountable microwave to the wall, positioned where you want to install the unit. Drill holes where marked, and remove the template from the wall.
