Locate a cabinet in your kitchen that is large enough to accommodate the microwave's dimensions comfortably. The microwave does need to have some space around it so air can vent safely. The cabinet also needs to be near an electrical outlet.
Empty out the cabinet so the microwave is the only thing in it -- at least on one shelf. You don't want combustible items like cleaning chemicals in the cabinet near the microwave. Verify the shelf can support the microwave's weight before fully placing the microwave on it.
Drill a hole into the cabinet on the side closest to the electrical outlet that is large enough to fit the power cable through it.
Pull the cable out through the hole and plug it into the electrical outlet to get the microwave ready for usage.
