How to Cook Scallops on the Grill

### Ingredients

* 1 pound fresh sea scallops

* 1/4 cup olive oil

* 1/4 cup lemon juice

* 1/4 teaspoon salt

* 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

* 1 teaspoon minced garlic

* 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

2. In a large bowl, combine the scallops, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic, and parsley. Toss to coat.

3. Thread the scallops onto skewers, making sure they are not too crowded.

4. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the scallops are opaque and firm.

5. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.

Tips

* To prevent the scallops from sticking to the grill, you can spray it with cooking spray or lightly oil it.

* If you don't have skewers, you can also cook the scallops in a grill basket or on a piece of foil.

* Scallops are very delicate, so be careful not to overcook them. They should be firm but still juicy.

* Serve the scallops with your favorite sides, such as grilled vegetables, pasta, or rice.
