Installation Instructions for a Bosch Dishwasher Drain Hose

The drain hose is an essential part of all dishwasher systems, providing an outlet for used water and waste. The drain hose can be connected to an “undersink” or “disposer” drain connection either directly or through an air gap. All Bosch dishwashers come packaged with the necessary fixings and attachments needed to connect the drain hose to the house plumbing.

Instructions

    • 1

Switch off your Bosch dishwasher and unplug the system from the mains. Make sure that the water supply is switched off.

    • 2

Inspect the Rubber Drain Hose Adapter that comes with your Bosch dishwasher. On one end you will find a raised groove at the edge. Attach the drain hose to the adapter by pushing it through the hole on the opposite side of this raised groove.

    • 3

Ensure that the drain hose is inserted fully and attach the Silver Spring Clamp. Tighten the clamp around the adapter to secure the drain hose in place.

    • 4

Attach the Gold Screw Clamp onto the other side of the Rubber Drain Hose Adapter, where the raised groove can be found.

    • 5

Use the clamp to secure the drain hose to your drainage system under the sink. Alter the tightness of the clamps in place in order to sustain a strong connection between the drain hose and the house plumbing.
