Removing the Vent Grille From a Samsung Microwave

Samsung microwave ovens are equipped with a vent grille along the front edge at the top of the appliance. The vent contains a filter that traps grease and airborne dust. To access the filter, you must remove the vent grille. This simple maintenance takes less than 10 minutes to do, and all you need is a common household tool.

     Take out the screws in the top edge of the vent on the front of your Samsung microwave.

     Press gently on the vent and slide to the left to disengage the tabs from the front of the microwave.

     Pull off the vent grille to access the filter underneath.
