How to Make a Fake Mummy

### Materials

* Old sheet or cloth

* Paper mache paste

* Paint (brown, white, black)

* Paintbrushes

* Scissors

* Newspaper

Instructions

1. Gather your materials.

2. Cut the old sheet or cloth into strips about 2 inches wide and 12 inches long.

3. Mix the paper mache paste according to the package directions.

4. Dip the cloth strips into the paper mache paste and then apply them to a mannequin or other form, wrapping the strips around and around to create a mummy shape.

5. Allow the paper mache to dry completely.

6. Paint the mummy with brown paint.

7. Once the brown paint is dry, paint on the white details, such as the mummy's eyes, nose, and mouth.

8. Finally, add some black paint to create shadows and give the mummy a more realistic look.

9. Allow the paint to dry completely.

Tips

* To make the mummy look even more realistic, you can add some fake dirt or sand to the paint.

* You can also add some gauze or cheesecloth to the mummy's body for a more textured look.

* If you don't have a mannequin, you can also use a large cardboard box or even a rolled up newspaper to create the mummy shape.

* Be creative! You can have fun with this project and make the mummy as unique as you want it to be.
