How to Prepare Top Round London Broil

Top round London broil is a delicious and versatile cut of meat that can be cooked in a variety of ways. Here is a simple guide on how to prepare top round London broil:

Ingredients:

- Top round London broil (about 2-3 pounds)

- Olive oil

- Salt

- Pepper

- Garlic powder

- Onion powder

- Worcestershire sauce

- Soy sauce

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).

2. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce.

3. Place the top round London broil in the bowl and rub the marinade all over the meat.

4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the meat marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.

5. Remove the meat from the marinade and place it in a roasting pan.

6. Roast the meat in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit (63 degrees Celsius) for medium-rare, or 160 degrees Fahrenheit (71 degrees Celsius) for medium.

7. Let the meat rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Tips:

- To make sure the meat is cooked evenly, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature.

- If you don't have a meat thermometer, you can also judge the doneness of the meat by pressing on it. If the meat springs back when you press on it, it is medium-rare. If the meat is firm to the touch, it is medium.

- Top round London broil can also be cooked on the grill. To do this, preheat your grill to medium-high heat and cook the meat for 10-12 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches your desired doneness.

- Serve top round London broil with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a salad.
