How to Make Dragonfly Costume for Kids

* 24-gauge green craft wire

* 18-gauge black craft wire

* 1 bottle of Mod Podge

* 1 paintbrush

* 1 pair of scissors

* 1 roll of clear tape

* 1 child-sized t-shirt

* 1 child-sized pair of leggings

* 1 child-sized pair of shoes

* 1 pair of black gloves

* 1 green face paint stick

Instructions:

1. Bend the 24-gauge craft wire into two large wings and four small wings. The large wings should be about 12 inches wide and 18 inches long. The small wings should be about 6 inches wide and 9 inches long.

2. Twist the ends of the craft wire together to secure the wings.

3. Bend the 18-gauge craft wire into two long antennae and four short antennae. The long antennae should be about 18 inches long. The short antennae should be about 6 inches long.

4. Twist the ends of the craft wire together to secure the antennae.

5. Paint the wings and antennae with Mod Podge. Let the Mod Podge dry completely.

6. Attach the wings to the back of the t-shirt with clear tape.

7. Attach the antennae to the top of the head with clear tape.

8. Put on the leggings, shoes, and gloves.

9. Use the green face paint stick to draw a dragonfly face on the child.
