How to Upholster Bar Stools

## Upholstering Bar Stools

Upholstering bar stools is a great way to give them a new look and feel. It's a relatively easy project that can be completed in a few hours.

Materials:

- Bar stools

- Fabric

- Foam

- Staple gun

-Scissors

- Measuring tape

-Screwdriver

Instructions:

1. Prepare the bar stools. Remove the old fabric from the bar stools by removing the staples. If the bar stools have any loose or damaged parts, repair them before proceeding.

2. Measure the bar stools. Measure the height, width, and depth of the bar stools. You will need these measurements to cut the foam and fabric.

3. Cut the foam. Cut the foam to the same size as the bar stools.

4. Attach the foam to the bar stools. Place the foam on the bar stools and staple it in place.

5. Cut the fabric. Cut the fabric to a size that is 1 inch larger than the foam on all sides.

6. Attach the fabric to the bar stools. Place the fabric over the foam and staple it in place. Fold the fabric under and staple it to the underside of the bar stools.

7. Enjoy your newly upholstered bar stools!

Tips:

- When cutting the fabric, be sure to cut it with the grain of the fabric. This will help to prevent the fabric from fraying.

-If the bar stools have buttons, remove them before upholstering the bar stools.

-Make sure the new fabric is pulled tight before stapling it in place.

-Use a staple gun with a long reach to staple the fabric in place.

-This project can be done with any type of fabric, but a durable fabric such as canvas or vinyl is recommended for bar stools.
