Before you can replace the drawer glides, you need to remove the drawer. To do this, pull the drawer out until it stops, then lift up on the front of the drawer until it comes out of the glides.
Step 2: Remove the old drawer glides.
Once the drawer is removed, you can remove the old drawer glides. To do this, look for the screws that hold the glides in place and remove them. There may be two or four screws, depending on the type of glides.
Step 3: Install the new drawer glides.
Once the old glides are removed, you can install the new ones. To do this, simply line up the new glides with the holes in the drawer and insert the screws. Tighten the screws until the glides are secure.
Step 4: Reinstall the drawer.
Once the new drawer glides are installed, you can reinstall the drawer. To do this, simply slide the drawer back into the glides until it is fully seated.
Step 5: Test the drawer.
Once the drawer is reinstalled, test it to make sure it opens and closes smoothly. If the drawer is not opening and closing smoothly, you may need to adjust the glides. To do this, simply loosen the screws that hold the glides in place and move the glides until the drawer opens and closes smoothly.
Step 6: Enjoy your new drawer glides!
Once you have replaced the drawer glides, you can enjoy your new, smooth-sliding drawer.
