How to Measure for Doors & Windows

On a basic level, it may seem that measuring for doors and windows would not be overly challenging. However, when you measure for doors and windows, you must do more than a simple calculation of the length multiplied by the height. Because you will not find a window or a windowsill or a door or doorjamb that is a perfectly straight square or rectangle, you must take different measurements. The way you measure for doors and windows is identical.
