How to Install a Composite Kitchen Sink

Turn off the water supply to the sink and remove the old sink and faucet.

Clean and repair any damage to the base cabinet.

Step 2: Position and Secure the Sink

Determine the location of the sink and mark.

Apply a bead of silicone caulk around the rim of the sink to secure it to the cabinet.

Make any necessary adjustments to the sink placement and fasten it to the base cabinet using the provided hardware.

Step 3: Connect the Drain

Attach the P-trap to the sink drain.

Place the rubber washer and slip nut over the drain outlet and fasten the drain flange.

Connect the drain pipe to the P-trap.

Step 4: Connect the Water Supply Lines

Connect the water supply lines to the faucet.

Apply plumber’s tape on the threads to prevent leaks and tighten by hand.

Use an adjustable wrench to tighten the connections securely.

Step 5: Install the Faucet

Place the faucet into the sinkhole and secure from underneath.

Install the faucet cover and tighten the nuts.

Step 6: Turn on the Water Supply

Turn on the water supply and check for leaks.

If you notice any leaks, tighten the connections until the leak stops.

Step 7: Finish and Clean

Apply caulk around the sink and faucet to prevent water damage.

Remove any excess caulk with a damp cloth.
