How to Get GiGi Wax Out of Carpet

1. Scrape off as much wax as possible. Use a dull knife or a credit card to scrape off the top layer of wax. Be careful not to damage the carpet fibers.

2. Apply a pre-treatment solution to the stain. There are a number of commercial pre-treatment solutions available, such as Folex or Resolve. Apply the solution according to the package directions and let it sit for the recommended time.

3. Blot the stain with a clean cloth. Use a clean, white cloth to blot the stain. Do not rub the stain, as this can spread it and make it more difficult to remove.

4. Rinse the area with water. Use a clean, damp cloth to rinse the area. Be sure to rinse thoroughly, as any remaining pre-treatment solution can damage the carpet.

5. Vacuum the area. Once the area is dry, vacuum it to remove any residual wax or pre-treatment solution.

6. If the stain persists, repeat steps 2-5. You may need to repeat steps 2-5 several times to completely remove the stain.
