Instructions
Step 1: Cut the PVC Pipes
Using a hacksaw, cut the PVC pipes into the following lengths:
- 8 x 7-foot pipes
- 2 x 3-foot pipes
Step 2: Assemble the Frame
1. Connect two 7-foot pipes with a 120° elbow to form a "T" shape. Repeat to create 4 of these T-shaped frames.
2. Connect the T-shaped frames using 90° elbows.
3. Add a 3-foot pipe to one open end of each 90° elbow.
4. Now you should have a rectangular frame with 4 legs and 4 crossbars near the top.
Step 3: Attach the Crossbars
1. Cut 4 pieces of PVC pipe to 2 feet long.
2. Attach a T-joint to one end of each 2-foot pipe.
3. Connect the T-joints to the crossbars near the top of the frame.
Step 4: Add End Caps
1. Attach an end cap to one open end of each leg of the frame.
Step 5: Attach the Curtain Rod Brackets
1. Attach a curtain rod bracket to each crossbar at the top of the frame.
Step 6: Attach the Curtain Rods
1. Slide a curtain rod through each curtain rod bracket.
Step 7: Attach the Curtains
1. Hang the curtains on the curtain rods.
Step 8: Secure the Frame
1. Tighten all connection points using cable ties.
Your portable curtain stand is now ready to use!
Additional Tips
* Measure the space where you plan to use the curtain stand before cutting the pipes. This will ensure that the stand is the correct size.
* Use a level to make sure the curtain stand is level before hanging the curtains.
* Space the 120-degree elbows approximately two and a half feet apart to ensure stability.
* If you want to make the stand more stable, you can add additional crossbars between the legs.
* You can also add wheels to the base of the stand to make it easier to move.
