How to Make Pegboard Displays

Pegboard displays are found in hardware stores, hobby shops and other specialist stores. They are used for displaying products such as tools and equipment. Pegboard displays are vertical displays that have 1/8-inch holes for metal hooks to slide into. They make it easy to adjust for different sized products over time. Pegboard can be found at most local hardware stores and lumber yards. It is an inexpensive material that is easy to work with.

Lay two 72-inch boards flat, parallel, and so their outside edges are 24 inches apart. Lay one 24-inch-wide pegboard sheet on top of the boards so the edges are flush. Screw the pegboard to the boards using six screws for each board. Space the screws 11 inches apart.

Position the sides upright so the 72-inch boards are on end. They should be parallel with their outside edges 24 1/2-inches apart. Position the 24 1/4-inch-wide pegboard perpendicularly against the sides so the edges are flush. Screw the pegboard to the boards in this position. Use six screws for each board.
