- Faux succulents (3-5)
- Artificial succulents (3-5)
- Pencils or pens
- Small terracotta or plastic pot
- Potting soil or foam
- Hot glue gun
- Scissors
- Decorative moss (optional)
Step 1: Gather Your Materials
- Remove the faux succulents from their original containers.
- Trim the stems to about 1-2 inches long.
- Bend the stems as needed to create a natural shape.
Step 3: Prepare the Pencils
- If using pencils, remove the erasers.
- If using pens, remove the caps and ink cartridges.
Step 4: Assemble the Planter
- Fill the pot with potting soil or foam.
- Arrange the succulents and pens or pencils in the pot.
- Press the succulents into the soil or foam to secure them.
Step 5: Hot Glue the Pens or Pencils
- Use a hot glue gun to glue the stems of the pens or pencils to the inside of the pot.
- Make sure the glue is secure so that the pens or pencils do not move.
Step 6: Add Decorative Moss
- If desired, cover any exposed soil or foam with decorative moss.
Step 7: Enjoy Your New Planter!
- Place your succulent pen planter on your desk, windowsill, or in any other desired location.
- Use the pens and pencils to write notes or draw pictures.
- Enjoy the beauty of your new succulent garden!
