How to Create DIY Paper Plants

* Green and brown construction paper

* Scissors

* Glue

* Pencil

* Ruler

Instructions

1. Cut out two pieces of green construction paper, each measuring 8.5 x 11 inches.

2. Fold each piece of paper in half lengthwise.

3. Cut one of the folded pieces of paper into 1-inch wide strips.

4. Cut the other piece of paper into 1/2-inch wide strips.

5. Glue the thin strips onto the thick strips, creating leaves.

6. Cut out a small piece of brown construction paper, measuring 2 x 3 inches.

7. Glue the brown paper to the bottom of one of the leaves, creating a stem.

8. Repeat steps 5-7 to create as many paper plants as desired.
