Shade Plants in the Jasmine Family

Plants in the jasmine family produce fragrant flowers during the spring, summer and fall. These plants enjoy warm, humid locations in either warm climates or greenhouses. Jasmine plants are the source of jasmine essential oil, which is used in perfumes, cosmetics, creams, oils, soaps, shampoos and herbal teas. Most jasmine family plants grow well in shady conditions.
