- 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of whole milk
- 1/2 cup of beer
- 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup of shredded pepper jack cheese
- 1/4 cup of diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup of diced onions
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon of dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. In a medium-sized saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Add the flour and whisk until combined.
3. Slowly whisk in the milk and bring the mixture to a simmer.
4. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
