How to Make Leftover Easter Candy Brownies

### Ingredients

* 1 cup all-purpose flour

* 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

* 1 teaspoon baking powder

* 1/4 teaspoon salt

* 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

* 1 cup sugar

* 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar

* 2 large eggs

* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

* 1 cup chopped leftover Easter candy

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

3. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, and brown sugar until combined. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the chopped Easter candy.

5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

6. Let the brownies cool completely before cutting and serving.
