Milk Shot Glasses
* 1 cup milk chocolate chips
* 2 tablespoons heavy cream
Cookie Shot Glasses
* 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1/4 cup sugar
* 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
* 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
* 1 large egg yolk
* 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
Milk Shot Glasses
1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the milk chocolate chips and heavy cream. Microwave on high in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
3. Pour the melted chocolate into a piping bag fitted with a small round tip.
4. Pipe the melted chocolate into 8 shot glass molds, making sure to coat the sides and bottom of each mold.
5. Place the shot glass molds in the freezer to set for at least 30 minutes.
Cookie Shot Glasses
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
3. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg yolk and vanilla extract until well combined.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
5. Drop the cookie dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cookies are just set and lightly browned around the edges.
7. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Assembling the Shot Glasses
1. Once the milk chocolate shot glasses and cookie shot glasses have completely cooled, remove them from the molds.
2. Place a milk chocolate shot glass inside each cookie shot glass.
3. Fill the milk chocolate shot glasses with your favorite milk or liqueur.
4. Enjoy!
Tips
* To make sure the milk chocolate shot glasses are completely set, place them in the freezer for a few minutes before filling them with milk or liqueur.
* You can use any type of chocolate chip you like for the milk shot glasses. I like using milk chocolate chips, but you could also use dark chocolate chips or white chocolate chips.
* If you don't have a piping bag, you can use a spoon to pour the melted chocolate into the shot glass molds.
* You can use any type of cookie recipe you like for the cookie shot glasses. I like using a simple chocolate chip cookie recipe, but you could also use any other type of cookie recipe that you like.
