How to Make Edible Floral Lollipops

Edible floral lollipops are a fun and delicious way to add a touch of nature to your next party or gathering. They're also a great way to get your kids to eat their flowers! Here's how to make them:

Ingredients:

- 1 cup sugar

- 1/2 cup water

- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

- Edible flowers, such as pansies, violas, or nasturtiums

Instructions:

1. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and cream of tartar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture has thickened slightly.

2. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

3. Pour the mixture into a heatproof bowl and let cool for a few minutes.

4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

5. Dip the edges of the flowers in the sugar syrup, then place them on the baking sheet.

6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until the lollipops have hardened.

7. Enjoy!

Tips:

- To make lollipops with different flavors, add a few drops of food coloring or essential oil to the sugar syrup.

- For a more elegant look, use edible gold leaf or silver leaf to decorate the lollipops.

- Edible floral lollipops make a great gift for any occasion. Simply package them in a cellophane bag or box and tie with a ribbon.
