How to Make Lighted Pine Cone Baskets

- Pine cones

- White glue

- Clear plastic wrap

- LED tea lights

- A pencil

- A drill with a 1/8-inch bit

- A wire cutter

- A thin wire

Instructions

1. Gather your materials.

2. Wrap a pine cone in clear plastic wrap. This will help to keep the glue from sticking to the pine cone.

3. Use the pencil to mark the center of the pine cone.

4. Drill a 1/8-inch hole through the center of the pine cone, starting at the top and coming out the bottom.

5. Remove the plastic wrap from the pine cone.

6. Apply a thin layer of white glue to the inside of the hole.

7. Insert an LED tea light into the hole.

8. Use the wire cutter to cut a piece of wire about 6 inches long.

9. Thread the wire through the hole in the pine cone, starting at the bottom and coming out the top.

10. Twist the ends of the wire together to secure the tea light in place.

11. Place the pine cone basket on a table or shelf. Enjoy your beautiful, lighted pine cone basket!

Tips

- If you want to make a larger basket, use two or more pine cones.

- If you want to add more tea lights, drill additional holes in the basket.

- You can also use different colors of glue to create different designs on the pine cones.
