---

Materials:

- 2 cups baking soda

- 2/3 cup water

- 1 cup cornstarch

- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

- Food coloring (optional)

- Mixing bowl

- Spoon

- Measuring cups

- Plastic bag

Instructions:

1. Pour baking soda, cornstarch, and vegetable oil to the mixing bowl and stir until combined.

2. Mix in the food coloring, if desired.

3. Gradually add water to the bowl. Begin mixing with the spoon, and then start kneading with hands.

4. Continue adding water if needed until the mixture forms a smooth and pliable dough.

5. Transfer the dough to a clean, lightly oiled plastic bag.

6. Let it rest for at least 30 minutes before using.

7. Take a small amount of dough out of the bag and knead it for about a minute.

8. Your clay is ready to be sculpted into various shapes!

Tips:

- When working with colored clay, wear gloves to avoid staining your hands.

- If the clay begins to dry out, simply knead in a few drops of water.

- Store the clay in an airtight container or plastic bag when it's not in use. It can be stored for several months.

- Air-drying may take several days or even a week. The thicker the clay piece is, the longer it will take to dry completely.
