How to Make a Canopy for Wagon

### How to Make a Canopy for a Wagon

A wagon canopy is a great way to add shade and protection from the elements when you're out camping or enjoying a day at the park. It's also a relatively easy project that can be completed in a few hours.

Materials:

* 10x10 ft tarp

* 4 pieces of 1x2 furring strips (8 ft long)

* 4 pieces of 1x4 furring strips (8 ft long)

* 16 L-brackets

* 16 screws

* Drill

* Saw

* Measuring tape

* Scissors

* Bungee cords

Instructions:

1. Cut the 1x2 furring strips into four 2-foot pieces and four 6-foot pieces.

2. Cut the 1x4 furring strips into four 8-foot pieces.

3. Assemble the frame of the canopy by attaching the 2-foot 1x2 furring strips to the ends of the 8-foot 1x4 furring strips with L-brackets and screws.

4. Attach the 6-foot 1x2 furring strips to the sides of the frame with L-brackets and screws.

5. Lay the tarp over the frame of the canopy and secure it in place with bungee cords.

Tips:

* Use a heavy-duty tarp that is waterproof and UV-resistant.

* If you're using a tarp that doesn't have grommets, you can add them yourself using a grommet tool.

* Make sure the frame of the canopy is sturdy and securely assembled.

* If you're going to be using the canopy in windy conditions, you may want to add additional support by attaching guy lines to the corners of the frame.

Enjoy your new wagon canopy!
