Aftershaves, especially lotions, can stain clothing. On occasion, colored aftershaves can stain porous surfaces, such as fiberglass sinks. Since aftershaves sometimes contain abrasive chemicals, ideally rinse it away right after it spills in your sink. If you notice a residue or stain left behind, remove it as soon as possible as well to avoid any permanent staining. Be cautious, though, and do not use abrasive cleaners or tools because they can easily scratch the fiberglass surface.

1
Rinse off the excess aftershave with water. If it is a lotion and it has hardened, blot it off with a paper towel.
-
2
Dab dishwashing detergent on a rag and blot the stain clean. If this does not work, mix 1 teaspoon of warm water and 1 teaspoon of baking soda and rub it on the stained area in circular motions to clean. Rinse the area well.

Spray a bathroom cleaner that contains bleach on the stain if it is still there, or dilute bleach with 80 to 90 percent water and spray it on the aftershave stain. Wait 10 minutes and rinse the area. The stain should be gone.
