How Can I Get the Wrinkles Out of a Poly-Foam Costume?

1. Hang the costume: You can hang it in a warm, humid environment, such as a bathroom with the shower running, for a few hours. The steam should help to relax the creases.

2. Use a blow dryer: Use the lowest heat setting on your blow dryer. Hold the dryer about six inches away from the costume and move it back and forth over the wrinkles. Be careful not to hold the dryer in one spot for too long, as this could damage the poly-foam.

3. Place between books: Place the costume between two heavy books and leave it overnight. The weight of the books should help to press out the wrinkles.

4. Steam iron: Use a steam iron on the lowest setting. Turn the costume inside out and place a cotton cloth or a pressing cloth over it before ironing. Start at the bottom, moving the iron toward the top.

5. Dry cleaning: If the costume is heavily wrinkled and made from a delicate type of poly-foam, you can take it to a dry cleaner and have them professionally remove the wrinkles.
