- Caulk remover
- Plastic scraper
- Paper towels
- Rag or sponge
Instructions:
1. Apply caulk remover. Apply a generous amount of caulk remover to the caulk you want to remove. Be sure to cover the entire surface of the caulk.
2. Let the caulk remover sit. Let the caulk remover sit for the amount of time specified on the product label. This will give the caulk remover time to soften the caulk and make it easier to remove.
3. Scrape off the caulk. Once the caulk remover has had time to sit, use a plastic scraper to scrape off the caulk. Start at one end of the caulk and work your way towards the other.
4. Clean up the area. Once you have removed all of the caulk, clean up the area with a paper towel or rag. Be sure to remove all of the caulk remover and any debris.
Tips:
- If the caulk is old or stubborn, you may need to apply caulk remover twice.
- Be careful not to use a metal scraper to remove caulk, as this can damage the surface of the tub.
- Be sure to wear gloves when working with caulk remover, as it can irritate the skin.
- If you get any caulk remover on your skin, wash it off immediately with soap and water.
