##Step 1: Turn Off the Water Supply
> Before you begin taking apart the faucet, you must turn off the water supply. This is typically done by turning the valves located under the sink.
##Step 2: Remove the Faucet Handles
> 1. Use the Allen wrench to loosen the set screw on the back of each faucet handle.
> 2. Once the set screws are loosened, you can remove the faucet handles by simply pulling them straight up off of the stems.
##Step 3: Remove the Escutcheon Plates
> 1. Use the flat-head screwdriver to pry off the escutcheon plates that cover the base of the faucet stems.
> 2. Be careful not to damage the escutcheon plates as you pry them off.
##Step 4: Remove the Cartridge Assembly
> 1. Use the adjustable wrench to loosen the retaining nut that holds the cartridge assembly in place.
> 2. Once the retaining nut is loosened, you can remove the cartridge assembly by pulling it straight up out of the faucet body.
##Step 5: Clean the Faucet Body
> 1. Use the rag to clean the inside of the faucet body.
> 2. Be sure to remove any old sealant or debris from the faucet body.
##Step 6: Reinstall the Cartridge Assembly
> 1. Insert the new cartridge assembly into the faucet body.
> 2. Tighten the retaining nut until it is snug.
##Step 7: Reinstall the Escutcheon Plates
> 1. Place the escutcheon plates back over the base of the faucet stems.
> 2. Press down on the escutcheon plates until they snap into place.
##Step 8: Reinstall the Faucet Handles
> 1. Place the faucet handles back onto the stems.
> 2. Tighten the set screws until they are snug.
##Step 9: Turn On the Water Supply
> 1. Turn on the water supply valves that you turned off in step 1.
> 2. Test the faucet to make sure that it is working properly.
##Step 10: Admire your work!
