How to Clean a Showerhead

Materials Needed:

- White vinegar

- Baking soda

- Old toothbrush

- Soft cloth

Instructions:

Step 1: Remove the showerhead.

Step 2: Fill a basin with equal parts white vinegar and water.

Step 3: Submerge the showerhead in the basin and let it soak for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Step 4: While the showerhead is soaking, create a paste by mixing 3 parts baking soda with 1 part water.

Step 5: Apply the baking soda paste to the showerhead, using the old toothbrush to reach all the nooks and crannies.

Step 6: Scrub the showerhead vigorously with the toothbrush.

Step 7: Rinse the showerhead thoroughly with clean water.

Step 8: Dry the showerhead with a soft cloth.

Step 9: Reinstall the showerhead.

Tips:

- If your showerhead is heavily clogged, you may need to soak it in the vinegar solution for longer than 30 minutes.

- You can also use a commercial showerhead cleaner instead of white vinegar and baking soda.

- Be sure to rinse the showerhead thoroughly after cleaning to remove any residual vinegar or baking soda.

- Cleaning the showerhead regularly will help prevent the buildup of lime, scale, and other deposits.
