How to Make Your Own Hanging Purse Organizer

Homes with little to no storage area can pose a problem for women who have a large purse collection. If closet space is limited, sometimes the only space available to store your purses are on the wall in a bedroom. Instead of tossing out an old or damaged dresser, turn the drawer fronts into a hanging rack for that collection of purses.

Things You'll Need

Instructions

    • 1

Remove the front of the drawer from the dresser. Spray paint the drawer front in desired color and let completely dry.

    • 2

Add a third drawer pull to front so there are three pulls total. If desired, replace all pulls with ones large enough to support a purse strap.

    • 3

Hang the first dresser front on the wall using a level to ensure it is even and straight. Hang remaining fronts approximately 2 inches from the bottom of the each of the others.
