Mix one part vinegar with three parts olive oil in a spray bottle. Shake the solution vigorously until all parts are well blended. Spray the oil base solution directly onto a cloth or sponge.
Rub the solution into the wood. Apply gentle pressure while rubbing the vinegar and oil solution with the grain.
Add 1/4 part boiled linseed oil, 1/8 part vinegar and 1/8 part whiskey to a spray bottle to make this type of polish with oil base. Agitate the solution until the furniture polish is mixed thoroughly. Apply the solution to heavily waxed furniture or polypropylene-wood finishes.
Allow the solution to evaporate. Gentle wipe off excess the solution. Do not buff. Buff the linseed polish with oil base, if essential oils are used instead of the whiskey.
Add 1/2 cup of sweet almond oil and a tablespoon of wheat germ oil to a spray bottle. Melt a tablespoon of beeswax and add this, along with two tablespoons of red turkey oil.
Mix in a few drops of essential oil into the polish with oil base. Waggle the mixture together. Apply the beeswax solution to dry wood, instead of heavily waxed or polypropylene wood finishes. Apply any one of these three oil-based polishes at least once every year.
