The Eureka Optima vacuum cleaner has an allergen filter to help remove dust, minerals and allergen particles from the air. This filter should be replaced every three to six months if the vacuum cleaner is used on a constant basis or every six to 12 months if used on a less regular basis. If the filter is not replaced, the vacuum cleaner may have reduced suction and may be less effective in removing dirt, dust and particles from the air.
