How to Clean Silestone Countertops

Silestone countertops are nonporous and therefore incredibly easy to care for.

  1. Mix the baking soda and water as described on the container (usually a 2-to-1 ratio works best).
  2. Apply a thin layer of the paste to the stain, covering it completely.
  3. Let the paste sit for the recommended time, usually 24 to 48 hours.
  4. Wipe the baking soda paste off with a damp cloth.
  5. Rinse the area with water and pat it dry.

For everyday cleaning, simply wipe Silestone® countertops with a soft cloth dampened with water. Rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water and dry it with a soft cloth.

For more difficult stains, such as grease or food residue, use a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Apply the detergent to a soft cloth and rub the stain gently. Rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water and dry it with a soft cloth.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, acetone, paint removers, or degreasers on Silestone® countertops. These products can damage the finish of the countertops.
