How to Reset Code to a Fire Safe

A fire safe is a preventative device that you may want to include in your home---particularly if you are concerned about a fire breaking out. Some of the items that to protect in a fire safe include laptop computers, photos, birth certificates, money and other personal information and items. If you fear your fire safe code has been compromised, you can reset the code.

     Press the "Program" key.

     Enter the five-digit factory code twice. This code is printed on the first page of the user's guide.

     Press the "Program" key again.

   • 4

     Enter the five-digit factory code.

   • 5

     Enter the five-digit code of your choice. You have now reset the fire safe code.
