How to Use GSA Safes & Vaults

GSA (General Services Administration) safes and vaults represent the industry standard for secure protection services. All GSA safes are inspected by a GSA Security Container Inspector. GSA safes are used by the United States military to store secret documents. You can use your GSA safe or vault with ease by following a simple set of procedures.

     Place your materials in the safe. Make sure all of your valuables end up in the safe. Follow the procedure from your specific model's manual for setting your password.

     Close the door securely to lock the safe. Be sure to write down the password in a safe place so that you can easily open the safe later.

     Input your password to unlock the safe, and open the door.
