How to Reset a Brinks Home Security System

Resetting your Brinks Home Security system may be required if you have recently purchased a Brinks Home Security service plan and you want to change the pass code.

     Type in the pass code provided by the factory in your instruction manual.

     Press the red memory button located on the side of the security system's keypad.

     Listen for the system to beep twice and watch for a yellow light to appear, indicating the system is ready to be reset.

     Type in a new pass code on the keypad. Choose a pass code containing three to eight digits that you will remember.

     Push the "B" button to confirm the pass code has been set. Once the alarm beeps twice, the system will be reset.
