How to Remove Even the Most Difficult Wallpaper

Tools and materials you will need:

* A putty knife

* A wallpaper steamer (optional)

* A spray bottle filled with hot water

* A drop cloth

* Painter's tape

* A ladder (if needed)

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Turn off the electricity to the room where you will be removing the wallpaper. This is important to avoid electrocution if you are using a wallpaper steamer.

2. Cover the floors and furniture in the room with a drop cloth. This will help to protect them from any damage caused by the wallpaper removal process.

3. Use painter's tape to cover any areas that you do not want to strip, such as light switches and electrical outlets.

4. If you are using a wallpaper steamer, set it up and turn it on. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for using the wallpaper steamer.

5. If you are not using a wallpaper steamer, hold a damp washcloth against a small section of the wallpaper for several minutes until it is saturated. Then, use a putty knife to pry the wallpaper away from the wall starting in the corner.

6. Continue to steam or wet and scrape away the wallpaper until it has all been removed.

7. Use a damp sponge or cloth to remove any remaining wallpaper adhesive from the wall.

8. Allow the wall to dry completely.

9. You can then prime the wall and paint it the color of your choice.
