- A clear glass ball or snow globe
- A small figurine or object to put inside the globe
- Distilled water
- Glycerin
- Craft glitter or artificial snow
- A funnel
- A chopstick or skewer
Instructions:
1. Place the figurine or object inside the glass ball.
2. Use a funnel to pour distilled water into the globe, carefully filling it about halfway.
3. Add a few spoonfuls of craft glitter or artificial snow.
4. Add enough glycerin to the globe so that it is filled to about 90% capacity.
5. Use a chopstick or skewer to stir the contents of the globe gently to mix the glitter or snow.
6. Close the globe tightly and shake it gently to distribute the glitter or snow evenly.
Tips:
* To create a more realistic snow effect, use a mixture of different sized glitter or artificial snow.
* You can also add food coloring to the water to create a tinted snow globe.
* Be sure to close the globe tightly before shaking it to prevent any leaks.
* If you want to add a base to your snow globe, you can use a piece of wood, plastic, or ceramic. Simply glue the base to the bottom of the globe.
* Snow globes make great gifts for any occasion!
