How to Change a Plastic Valve to Metal in the Bathroom

Shut-off valves allow you to quickly shut off the water supply to a sink or toilet in your bathroom in case of an overflow, or in case you decide to replace your bathroom fixtures. Plastic valves are economical choices; however, they can develop leaks, which can cause damage to your bathroom floor and walls. Replacing plastic shut-off valves with metal valves is a relatively straightforward process that requires only basic hand tools and plumbing supplies.
