How to Move Sink Plumbing From the Side Center

### Moving the sink plumbing from the side center involves rerouting the hot and cold water lines, as well as the drainage pipe. It's important to shut off the water supply and drain the sink before beginning any work.

Step 1: Turn Off the Water Supply

- Locate the shut-off valves for the hot and cold water lines to the sink. These valves are usually located beneath the sink or in a nearby utility closet.

- Turn the valves clockwise until they are completely closed.

Step 2: Drain the Sink

- Place a bucket under the sink to catch any water

- Open the faucet to let the sink drain completely.

Step 3: Disconnect the Water Lines

- Use a wrench to loosen and disconnect the hot and cold water lines from the faucet connections.

- Be prepared for some water to leak out when the lines are disconnected.

Step 4: Remove the Drain Pipe

- Disconnect the drain pipe from the sink. This may involve loosening the slip nut that holds the drain pipe in place.

- You can use a plumber's putty or Teflon tape to create a seal around the drain pipe if it is leaking and to prevent future leaks.

Step 5: Reconnect the Water Lines

- Move the faucet with its still attached water lines to its desired location.

-Reconnect the hot and cold water lines to the faucet connections. Tighten the connections with a wrench.

Step 6: Reconnect the Drain Pipe

- Reinstall the drain pipe and reconnect it to the sink. Tighten the slip nut to secure the drain pipe in place.

Step 7: Restore Water Supply

- Open the shut-off valves to restore the water supply.

- Check all connections for leaks and tighten them as needed.

Step 8: Test the Faucet

- Turn on the faucet and check for any leaks. If there are any leaks, tighten the connections until they stop.

Step 9: Clean Up

- Clean up any mess created during the project and dispose of any old parts or materials.
