How to Paint a Room With Archways

Prepare the room:

- Move furniture to the center of the room and cover with a drop cloth.

- Remove outlet and switch covers.

- Apply painter's tape to protect the trim, baseboards, and any areas you don't want to be painted.

Choose the right paint:

- Select a paint that is suitable for your walls and the desired finish.

- You may need to use different paints for the walls and the archways, depending on the material and finish of each.

Paint the walls:

- Start painting the walls, using a roller for large areas and a brush for edges and corners.

- Apply multiple coats as needed to achieve the desired coverage.

Paint the archways:

- Once the walls are completely dry, you can begin painting the archways.

- Use a small paintbrush to carefully paint the archways, making sure to get into all the crevices and corners.

- Apply multiple coats if necessary.

Finish up:

- Remove the painter's tape carefully.

- Replace the outlet and switch covers.

- Touch up any areas that need it.

- Let the paint dry completely before moving furniture back into the room.
