Cultured marble is a synthetic material designed to look like real marble. It is cost-effective and attractive, but cracks easily. You can repair single cracks along the top of the vanity using a strong adhesive. This reinforces the vanity and prevents water from getting into the crack. If you see a lot of cracks in the bottom of the vanity, your marble has spider cracks. This is caused by hot water or a drain that was installed too tightly and can't be fixed.

1
Clean the vanity with a household cleaner to remove any dirt or oil. Use dish soap to cut through any grease. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
-
2
Prepare a two-part epoxy according to the manufacturer's instructions. Use an epoxy that cures slowly because it will expand as it dries to create a stronger bond.
-
-
3
Apply the epoxy to the crack using either the syringe it came with or a toothpick. Fill the crack from the bottom up, layering the epoxy if necessary.
-
4
Leave the epoxy to cure according to the package instructions.
-
5
Remove any excess adhesive with acetone nail polish remover on a cotton swab.
