Turn off the breaker that controls the electrical circuit for the room where you plan to install the light.
Remove the screws that secure the reflector shield onto the chassis of the fixture and then pull the shield off.
Feed the black, white and green wires coming out of the ceiling through the access hole in the top of the light fixture and then secure the light fixture to the ceiling with drywall screws or wood screws. You will locate a hole at each end where you can install the screws.
Wrap the exposed ends of the black wire coming from the ceiling and the black wire coming from the light ballast together with a wire nut.
Wrap the exposed ends of the white wire coming from the ceiling and the white wire coming from the light ballast together with a wire nut.
Remove the green screw from the chassis of the light fixture and then attach the green wire coming from the ceiling to the green screw and then screw the green screw back into the hole. Tuck the wires up into the ceiling.
Place the reflector shield back onto the chassis of the fixture and secure with the screwdriver.
Hold the first tube with both pins on each end line vertically and then slide both ends into the connectors at each end of the fixture. Rotate the tube one-quarter clockwise to lock it in place. Repeat the process with the second tube.
Restore power to the circuit so you can power the light fixture.
