How do I Re-Light an Amana Air Command 80 Upflow GUI?

To re-light an Amana Air Command 80 Upflow GUI furnace, follow these steps:

1. Turn off the power to the furnace at the circuit breaker or fuse box.

2. Remove the front panel of the furnace by removing the screws that hold it in place.

3. Locate the pilot light assembly. It is a small metal tube with a flame at the end.

4. Check the pilot light to see if it is lit. If it is not lit, use a long match or lighter to light it.

5. Hold the flame at the end of the pilot light for about 30 seconds until the pilot light stays lit on its own.

6. Replace the front panel of the furnace and turn the power back on.

7. The furnace should now start working again.
