How to Cut a Round Mirror

* Safety goggles

* Dust mask

* Tape measure

* Pencil

* Glass cutter

* Pliers

* Rag

* Newspaper

* Box cutter

Instructions:

1. Put on your safety goggles and dust mask.

2. Measure the diameter of the mirror and mark a circle on a piece of newspaper that is at least 2 inches larger than the mirror.

3. Cut out the circle of newspaper.

4. Place the mirror on top of the newspaper circle and trace around the edge of the mirror with a pencil.

5. Remove the mirror and place the newspaper circle on a work surface.

6. Wet the glass cutter with oil.

7. Score the glass along the pencil line by running the glass cutter over it several times.

8. Bend the glass along the score line by gently pressing on the back of the mirror.

9. Use pliers to snap the glass along the score line.

10. Use a rag to smooth the edges of the mirror.

11. Clean the mirror with a glass cleaner.
