Instructions

  1. Arranging Your Flowers

    • 1

Apply a small amount of glue to the bottom of the floral foam with the hot glue gun.

    • 2

Place the floral foam into the container, securing it at the bottom with the adhesive.

    • 3

Strip all of your flowers of most leaves with your shears. Keep one or two leaves on each flower stem where desired to create volume in the arrangement.

    • 4

Cut the tallest flowers of your arrangement to peak out at least 3 to 6 inches inches from the top of the container, depending on the height you wish to achieve in your arrangement.

    • 5

Trim the rest of your flowers in a descending height to create a rounded look to the arrangement.

    • 6

Anchor the tallest, fullest flowers in the center of the floral foam in the container. This will give weight to the base. Choose colorful flowers to be the tall center flowers in your arrangement to create an intriguing focal point.

    • 7

Anchor the rest of the filler flowers around the tall center flowers according to height. The shortest flowers should end up around the outside of the arrangement, leading up to the tallest in the center.

Add cool water to the container regularly to keep your arrangement fresh and thriving.
