How to Make Fake Polyurethane Rocks

### Materials:

* Expanding polyurethane foam

* Disposable plastic cups

* Plastic or rubber gloves

* Safety glasses

* Sharp knife

* Sandpaper

* Paint (optional)

Instructions:

1. Put on your gloves and safety glasses.

2.Pour expanding polyurethane foam into a disposable plastic cup(s) until about half full.

3. Let the foam expand and harden for several minutes.

4. Once the foam has hardened, remove it from the cup(s). Trim them into 2 - 5 cm (0.79 - 1.97 inches) rocks of various sizes with a sharp knife.

5. Sand the rocks to smooth out any rough edges.

6. Paint the rocks if desired. You can use acrylic paint or spray paint.

7. Allow the paint to dry completely before using the rocks.

Tips:

- To make larger rocks, pour the expanding polyurethane foam into a larger container, such as a bucket or cardboard box.

- You can add sand, gravel, or other materials to the expanding polyurethane foam to create different textures.

- Be careful not to overfill the plastic cups, as the foam will expand and could overflow.

- Work in a well-ventilated area.

- Expanding polyurethane foam can be messy. Place down newspaper, cardboard or something to make clean up easier.

Fake polyurethane rocks can be used for a variety of purposes, such as:

- Decorative accents
