How to Make a Ziggurat Out of Cardboard

## Materials

* Cardboard boxes (various sizes)

* Scissors

* Craft knife

* Ruler

* Pencil

* Glue

* Paint (optional)

Instructions

1. Cut out the pieces for the ziggurat. You will need:

* 4 square pieces of cardboard for the base

* 4 rectangular pieces of cardboard for the sides

* 1 triangular piece of cardboard for the top

2. Assemble the base of the ziggurat. Glue the four square pieces of cardboard together, side by side, to form a square base.

3. Attach the sides of the ziggurat. Glue the four rectangular pieces of cardboard to the sides of the base, one piece on each side.

4. Attach the top of the ziggurat. Glue the triangular piece of cardboard to the top of the ziggurat.

5. Let the glue dry completely.

6. Paint the ziggurat. (optional) If you want, you can paint the ziggurat with acrylic paint. Be creative and have fun with it!

Tips

* To make a larger or smaller ziggurat, simply adjust the size of the cardboard boxes you use.

* If you don't have any cardboard boxes, you can also use foam board or other sturdy material.

* Be careful when using the craft knife.

* Let the glue dry completely before moving or playing with the ziggurat.
