- Green tunic or shirt

1. Make the hat. Cut a large circle out of green felt. Cut a smaller circle out of the center of the large circle. Sew the two circles together, leaving the top open. Stuff the hat with cotton balls or batting. Sew a feather boa around the edge of the hat.
2. Make the belt. Cut a long strip of green felt. Cut a small rectangle out of the center of the strip of felt. Sew the two pieces of felt together, leaving the top open. Stuff the belt with cotton balls or batting. Sew a red yarn belt buckle onto the front of the belt.
3. Assemble the costume. Put on the green tunic or shirt and the brown pants or leggings. Put on the hat and the belt. Tuck the white shirt collar under the tunic. Add the feather boa, boots, and sword. If desired, wear a brown wig.
- If you don't have a green tunic or shirt, you can also use a green dress.
- If you don't have brown pants or leggings, you can also use black pants or leggings.
- If you don't have a white shirt, you can also use a cream-colored shirt.
- If you don't have a feather boa, you can also use a green ribbon.
- If you don't want to make a sword, you can also buy one at a Halloween store.
- If you don't want to wear a wig, you can also style your own hair into a messy bun.
- Add some face paint to your costume, such as green eyeshadow and freckles.
- Carry a small satchel with you, filled with props such as a map, a compass, and a magnifying glass.
- Make a pair of wings out of cardboard and attach them to your back.
